Jan Sy, Henry Sy’s granddaughter died at 29

Jan Catherine Sy, daughter of SM Prime Holdings chairman Henry “Big Boy” Sy Jr. and granddaughter of SM Group founder Henry Sy, passed away Thursday.

The SM Development Corp. vice-president died at 6:35 p.m. days after she had been admitted at St. Luke’s in BGC, Taguig for septic shock.

Senator Joel Villanueva was among the first to sent his condolences to the family.
