Driving schools closed for two weeks – IATF

Starting Monday this week, Metro Manila was placed under a curfew once again to curb the spike in new virus cases. From 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, everyone should be indoors, with the exemption of frontliners and select members of the workforce. Now, it seems the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) is implementing more measures to help stop the spread of the virus.

The IATF, through presidential speaker Harry Roque, announced that select businesses will temporarily stop operations once again for two weeks. Driving schools, cinemas, gaming arcades, museums, and cultural centers in areas under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) will be closed starting Friday, March 19, until April 4.

Also, meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) events will be limited to 30% of the event venue’s capacity. Meanwhile, restaurants and cafes will be restricted to serving 50% of their guest capacity.
